When you do not need a staffing agency
Agencies earn a markup on every hour. For a three-person hire that is expensive. For a fifty-person operation it may be the cheapest option available.
Use an agency when
- You need payroll, PF and ESI handled without building a department.
- You need ten or more people at once, repeatedly.
- You need compliance documentation for audits or contracts.
- You need a roster that flexes weekly with demand.
Use a direct board when
- You are hiring one to ten people and can do the interviews.
- You want to keep the employment relationship and control shifts.
- The roles are permanent rather than constantly rotating.
- The markup would exceed the cost of your own time.
The hybrid
Many small businesses hire their permanent core directly and use an agency only for seasonal spikes. That usually produces the lowest total cost, because the agency premium lands only where flexibility is genuinely worth paying for.
What we will tell you
If your requirement looks better served by a managed service, we will say so rather than sell you a board you do not need. That is why the compliance question sits on this page instead of at the bottom of a pricing table.
Questions people ask
Do you provide payroll?
No, not as part of hiring. It is available as a separate managed service.
Can I move workers from an agency to direct employment?
Often, yes, subject to your agency contract. Check for a non-poach clause before you do it.
